Andrew Allen
It looks like I’ve got a little something on my face, let me just… there thats better. I’m Andrew Allen, an art student, teacher, and aspiring studio artist. With a studio art undergrad from CSU Channel Islands, I’m working towards my MFA in studio art, with the ultimate goal of becoming an art professor.
I've been mostly self-taught, developing my own drawing and painting skills for more than 20 years of my life, and focusing on expressionistic figure painting. I especially love teaching figure drawing and anatomy to my students at The Vivid Canvas Art Studio in Simi Valley, CA.
When I’m not at school or working on my next project I enjoy volunteering with the youth at my church, playing board games, keeping up with the latest films and television, and occasionally covering my face in shaving cream.
